HIKING MOUNT ROOSEVELT
Mt. Roosevelt is the closest Forest Service-managed trail to the Lead/Deadwood area. The hike is only about a half-mile round-trip to the tower but offers some of the most spectacular views in the Northern Hills. Mt. Roosevelt road, parking area and trail are not maintained during winter conditions.
